Was present first bombardment of Sebastopol, 17th October 1854 (Crimean Medal and clasp, and Turkish medal); appointed clerk to Consulate, Berdiansk, 1861; Vice-Consul, 1874; Vice-Consul Nicolaieff, 1876; Consul at Taganrog for provinces of Ekaterinoslav, 1884, and ports of the Sea of Azoff; Consul for Governments of Voronetz, Saratof, Samara, Ufa, Orenburg, Astrakhan, Stavropol, the Don Cossack country, and the Kuban and Ter districts, 1887; Consul at Riga for provinces of Livonia and Courland, 1889; Consul-General at Rio de Janeiro, 1895; received the Jubilee medal, 1897; Consul-General for the States of Rio de Janeiro, Espirito Santo, Minas Ceraes and Matto Grosso, 1889; retired on a pension, August 1900.
